      High tensile woven wire for superior strength

      All Havengard® security screens are manufactured from 304(H) high tensile stainless steel woven wire. The benefits of using 304 H wire are (a) that in comparison to other products 304H  is far more ductile under attack and absorbs energy by changing form without shearing or breaking and (b) 304H is harder than other products which makes it more resistant to shearing or tearing, which are essential requirements for passing the Australian security screen standards.

      All Havengard® security doors and windows feature the patented  ‘Grip Lock’ mesh retaining system. ‘Grip Lock’ folds and hooks the stainless steel security mesh continuously all around the window or door frame.

      This unique continuous extra strong interaction between the mesh and the frame means the stainless steel mesh will not pull out of the frame even after a prolonged attack. No other system includes this unique technology.
